Do I need to finish my itinerary before creating a trip?
Start with the dates and destinations you know. Add cities, flight details, daily activities, and packing lists as your plans take shape.
Can I plan a trip across several cities?
Yes. Add the countries and cities on your route, with dates and notes for each stop. Keep them together with flights and daily activities so you can see how the journey fits together.
What can I add to my daily itinerary?
Organize activities by day with times, locations, notes, and costs. Use these details for sightseeing, meals, check-ins, and other plans you want to find quickly during the trip.
Can I keep my flight details in Oreviyo?
Yes. Save the airline, flight number, airports, departure and arrival dates and times, booking reference, estimated duration, and notes with your trip. Your flight details stay alongside the rest of your plans.
Does adding a flight or reservation make a booking?
No. Adding an entry records the travel details you provide; it does not make or confirm a reservation. Arrange bookings with the provider, then keep the useful times, locations, and references in Oreviyo.
What can I see in the trip overview?
See your route map, dates, cities, flights, itinerary progress, packing progress, and trip notes together. It is a quick way to review the journey and the preparation that still needs attention.
Can I plan a trip with friends?
You can invite other travelers to a shared trip with view or edit access. Keep the itinerary, trip details, and shared packing in one place so everyone can refer to the same plan.
Can I choose who can edit a shared trip?
Yes. As the trip owner, give edit access to the people helping organize and view access to travelers who need to follow the shared plan. This lets your group contribute without giving everyone the same permissions.
Can I keep my packing separate from the group list?
Yes. Use personal packing for your own essentials and trip packing for items planned for the group. Organize your lists by category and keep them alongside the itinerary you are packing for.
Can I assign packing items to different travelers?
Yes. Assign an item to a traveler who has joined the trip, or choose Everyone when each member should bring their own. This helps distinguish the person bringing a picnic blanket from the people who each need a water bottle.
How do I track what is packed and what is missing?
Group items into categories and mark your items packed as you go. Review packing progress before departure to see what still needs attention. For Everyone items, each traveler tracks their own packed status.
Can I save places I want to visit and places I have been?
Yes. In World, save countries and cities as Wishlist, Planning, or Visited. Review your saved places on the map or in a list, keeping future travel ideas and places you have already explored together.
